.01/.02 table is super hard to extract any money from!! (Why I limped AK) .01/.02 table is super hard to extract any money from!! (Why I limped AK)

Playing a super tight online .01/.02 table.

I got 3 great hands in a row.
AA, AK, and JJ
I raised 3-4BB
Everyone always folds
3 huge hands in a row, all I get is the blinds.

I then got AK again.
This hand, I did not dare raise PF.
I limped, and one guy bet out on Flop, Turn.
I just called.
On the river, I bet 50% of pot, and everyone folded.
Finally made money by limping.

Only the best starting hands win more than the blinds in the long run. Pretty much KK+, AKs can earn a share >pot. The rest only win a fraction of the blinds.

Full stack poker isn't about winning huge pots all the time.

I recommend never limping anything first in.

Why are you playing at a super tight 2nl table? That seems really silly when there are loads of much better tables to sit at.

Also people folding is good. I'd love to play super nitty tables all day just raise really small and wide and print money.

If you just raised 3x in a row, raise again of course.

AK is a terrible hand to limp anyway.

Raise preflop. Change tables

What's the point of this?

Limping is better than raising?
AK is more profitable than AA?
OP doesn't put any information in hand histories?
$2NL is super tough unbeatable GTO?

If you're basing your pre-flop strategy on a sample size of 4 hands, you're not going to do very well in this game.

Your reasoning is incredibly results orientated. Whether you won or lost shouldn't be a consideration in any given hand when assessing how well you have played. Variance is huge in poker so judging your play on the basis of a few hands is never going to be worthwhile. Try to think about making the +ev play only. Will limping AK result in positive expected value in the long term or a more positive expected value than raising say 3x?

Raise smaller and add more speculative hands to your range.

Also change tables. 3-4x raises should be getting plenty of action at NL2.

Um, winning uncontested is 150/100BB winrate. Enjoy?

i also play the same stake full ring and i notice the game is usually very tight.

I wonder is it better to change table or bluff more in a tight table?
