That was the most obvious case of fold river I've ever seen. Only fish get the money in on the river with 2-pair against a rivered set.

With fast fold and nits only playing nut hands of course you are going to run into a lot of coolers. A lot of hands + nits = nuts vs nuts.
Also these aren't even bad coolers that people are posting, maybe work on your game instead of blaming your losses on the russians, nits and rigged software.

Can anyone else vouch for this?

TDA are you still winning and have the games on zoom changed much recently? Also love your "Moving through the microstakes" thread and zoom vid's. They have been really helpful for me as a new player.

Yes (though it pains me as someone who produces zoom videos for a different site).

The games get harder every year. Seems some bots have been banned recently which helps a lot, but they're still slightly tougher than this time last year. Glad you enjoyed.

What stake do the runitonce videos focus on? Would it be worth looking into for a beginner playing 2nl and are they in the essential or elite section?

for 2nl, just watch youtube series and poker school online stuff. I'd start thinking about RIO essential once you hit 10nl, maybe 5nl - not sure how 5nl plays nowadays. But tbh you shouldn't need too much help beating 2nl - just value bet the **** out of your opponents and basically never bluff.

Ah, at 2NL-5NL if you want the accelerated progress that a training site can offer, I would then recommend GrinderSchool*.

I am a GrinderSchool instructor but receive no financial incentive for saying this, and all opinions are my own.

What do you guys think of xflix as a player? Before I watch his videos I want to be assured he's not some spud.

Eh. I've never been impressed at the tables but his results are better than mine, I think, so he's probably better than me.

I used to play 25NL 2 years ago and this year I returned to poker at 2NL. I was making some plays that just got me into a high-variance scenario at 2NL. I think that his Grinding it UP! series can be very useful if you approach his videos assuming he knows micros better than you. I got some very good adjustments just because I suffered from my playstyle and decided to watch his videos again and re-evaluate his plays.

All in all, not a tine waste and can be entertaining if you start watching from the beginning.

He's far from a spud. There are players with better winrates at 100NL+, but Flix is totally solid and a very good teacher at all the levels up to 50NL. He completely destroyed 10NL, for example, with a pretty standard ABC style. One of his most important traits I think is "tilt control". Other players may have sicker GTO skillz, but they often lack the mental toughness or positive attitude that Flix has.
Full disclosure: I'm biased, as Flix is a buddy.

Over 30bb/100 in the deep ante games. I think it was 11bb/100 at Zoom 10NL, but I can't remember exactly. He shows the results in his videos.

how do you beat zoom 10nl for 11bb with abc poker? when you say abc you probably dont mean super tight 4-betting and 3-betting right? or a fit/fold game or even an overfold approach to the game. I think you wouldnt even beat 5nl for that amount but what do i know , im a full ring guy if such winrates are possible i think i should try six max.

Pre is sorta close. As played just jamming the flop can't be that bad, you have a million outs against anything but stuff like AQdd.

with stack sizes i think pre is ok

really really really dont like jamming the flop, dont like x/r'ing either

disclaimer: im bad

Looks to me like a perfect candidate to check-raise and shove, as you're flipping vs AA, have reasonable equity vs sets, but never get paid if you just call and make your hand (the board will be way too scary for overpairs to pay you). It could also be donked (which is something I rarely do).
