Yeah I am kind of bored of it too, I dont feel like I can leave the game either. Time goes a lot quicker IMO.
More people quick fold till they get good hands so you see coolers a lot more. I dont like a game where I feel confused what to do with QQ/AK facing a 3bet.
my new plan for zoom is dont play it, even at 2nl where all in pre means AA. Like verneer when he was doing his 10k challenge, I need to make some adjustments...Reading through his thread I think yeah, Ill try and see a showdown with my decent but not great hands and get it in with my great hands, but everyone is so aggressive, Im never seeing a showdown :/ I must be missing something obviously.
I think Zoom is awesome and so many spots in these games. OK I admit im running hot too, something like 30bb/100 over the last 20k hands, thin brag yes i know. Playing 10k hands in a day is also pretty cool i never was able to put in that kinda volume on other tables.
The best thing about it is no more damn table selection, dont you hate it scanning the lobby all the time and bumhunt for the fishes? I always hated table selection constantly and it felt kinda dirty. With table scanner software you cant even call it a "skill" anymore, which i wouldnt have called it anyways but thats another story.
Also funny how bad many of the even 50NL+ regs are vs other regs, could also be that they are just spewing around at 10NL Zoom of course, but i rather think the can only play vs fish.
Tracking sites also cant track the results which is another reason for playing Zoom.
Zoom format is the future of poker imo.

Are people really finding zoom poker that hard? I've found the players are way looser there then in your standard 6max game. I've seen a fair few players 4bet shove with hands like AQo, some players stacking off multiway with small PP's. I've only played 1000 hands there but i'm up $13. ATM ignoring thin value seems to work just fine.
