I am currently 62k hands down at $2nl zoom - I find that my big swings (both up and down) come from one of three things:


- Bad beats -This is fine, I'm happy I got it in good.
- Playing like a **** - This is not a nice feeling.
- Hitting a monster - Happy days!

The thing I try to remember is this: You cannot expect to beat this level in just a few hands, but you can severely halt any progress by making a few bad plays.

This game, as with all poker is about not making mistakes!

h3: fold pre 74s is a trashy hand, when ya call and hit that board you have to XR especially when he bets that small.

I think he folds a weaker hand than mine. Am I right?

I suspect that you are right.

What would your raise accomplish then ? If he has a hand you beat, he folds it and you win what you were already winning. If he has a hand that is better than yours, you just cost yourself money that you didn't need to.
