Yeah same as me for lower limits but 200 I'm just not used to yet, like 1k swings are completely standard, will get used to it soon I guess.

What does everyone think about the small bet OTR. I'm only getting value from 99-JJ, 8x if i bet larger but might get a call from A high Or flush if i bet smaller. Obv if I knew he was this much of a tard I would have bet larger.

Being capable of calls like this really is the key to succeeding at 100nl+ imo. It's just an exquisite example of assigning taking actions, betsize, bluff frequencies, and board texture into account, constructing a perfect range for the villain and calling with what is the nut bluffcatcher in your range. Very few people even at 100nl would make this call, really is higher level stuff. WP burnns.

Well the flop plays itself because I am open ended. On the turn I hit my pair and have the best hand some %, plus there is now four to a straight and it is very unlikely he has a jack (only 4 left in the deck). When he raises it's completely ridiculous because the average player will slowplay the straight there. In addition the fact that I hold both the eight and seven of clubs reduces the clubs left in the deck, so makes it very unlikely that he holds the jack of clubs. I think it is fairly likely he has some kind of low suited connectors here. The river is actually good for me as it is a spade, further reducing his Jx combos as there are now less spades left in the deck so the Js is very unlikely.

Finally, I also had 'hero call equity' the concept that if I call this he will be less willing to try and push me around in future as he knows I am not an easy target.
