Had $6 on Stars when Zoom started now at nearly $200. Probably going to get my roll off Party in the next few days and make Zoom my main game.

I'm not complaining really. PLO is swongy at the best of times, and zoom I think makes it feel more so because of the pace. I'm not sure that it really is more swingy, idk ...

I haven't converted the hands from last night into HEM1, but this is my graph for the last couple of sessions before last night (running like god on steroids lol), so it's all good !

We're not playing against the player pool, we're playing against individual players.

Just play poker

+1.

Some of the perceived tightness and low overall players/flop is due to the fact that every Zoom table is full. Normal tables are often skewed by being shorthanded, or having recently been shorthanded.

Likewise I started with $38 that was left in my acc and it's up to ~$300 even though I've lost $315 at 25NL.

I think how easy it is to get a lot of hands in makes me like it more than normal tables. I deposited on 888 with the intention of playing there just before zoom came out and haven't played since... Might withdraw and move it to PS or just leave it there if I want a break from zoom?

Time to move to 10NL then?

All my zoom hands:
Started with ~$40 at 2 NL, now ~$700 at 25 NL.

why do you think that? How much do you fold?

pretty much all the time unless I have a pair and the odds to set mine or with like AQs+QKs. if its multi way maybe some sc's and decent unsuited aces + A2-5s and ATs+

Thought ide throw my 2 cents into the Zoom topic (im about 15 pages in reading from the start but im too inpatient to not say anything)

So my thoughts....I like it.

Don't love it, but certainly like it. As im sure alot of people have said..its going to be hard to return to normal poker now.

As for myselfs, very mixed as best. which, in turn, seems to be a good thing when it comes to my tiltyness. before if i went $20 down ide start fumming and ranting and chucking **** across the room. Now i feel its normal to have such swings in rush poker, i lost about $100 in 7 days, only to make $90 in 5 hours at the rush tables (followed by a loss of $30 tonight)

Im reading through Verneers thread but thats gonna take a while. all in all though, its fun, fast, and i can handle the swings better. still wish i was playing normal 6 max for read based poker, but the fastness of it all just suits me well.

Wanting to put a good shift of 6 - 8 hours in, however i find my goal of hitting 1,500 hands a day is obviously easy 3 tabling rush...maybe i should re adjust that goal now zoom is here!

(sorry if i call it rush...old habits and that)

If you're 3 tabling 6-max you'll hit 1500 hands easily in an hour.

Playing PLO I'm used to flipping / being sucked out on (ldo), but last night was something else. I reckon I may have been down around $1000 at one point after getting it all in ott with the NF and villain rivers a boat, getting it in with top set and villain rivers quads etc etc. Ran it back up to the point where I had just less than 1200bb across 2 tables, so sat out maybe 2BI down. 920vpps for the session.

zoom PLO shows you how sick a game PLO is. When you run bad you run terrible

I estimate it at 300 hand / hour / table.

Zoom is very, very swingy indeed.... Fun, but not one to draw conclusions on win rates below 100k hands!!
