These were just the worst hands! I got it right elsewhere, honest! (zero sum AA vs KK game - remember this, its important).
I thought I was being a tricky trickster with the KK. He was pretty tight and I wanted him to stay in. Mission accomplished. I honestly thought it was the best way to play against this specific villain.
I posted the AA vs KQ hand to take a beating - I earned it.
I knew I had got that totally wrong.
In the 66 hand, I could have gone bigger on the river, but I wanted him to call. He would have caled if Id have shoved - confirmation bias = justifiable play?
And the AA shove, I cant remember his stats now but it was *not* random. He was an uber nit, he only ever held AK, KK+ and would get all in.
Things have gone alright since then. Won a couple of buyins. I think I've got a decent 6M zoom strat. Fixed a lot of my leaks playing zoom pretty quickly, a few months. I feel pretty confident that what Ive learned will translate to regular cash games. If any of you who have seen my posts over the last year has noticed a particular pattern or thing that Im doing wrong, Im all ears. Ive (mostly) fixed my urge to call river bets and my results are through the roof. I understand that I have a lingering sizing problem :s working on it though. Anything else?
