Just a PSA.

Seems to be a bunch of stupidity, trolling, levelling and re-levelling going on around here atm.

Don't make me come in here being a nazi mod and all that ...

Whenever I seem to get a grip on things, the next session it goes straight to hell. However, I like to think that most of them has been coolers and there's not much I can do about it. The last 300 hands is just plain ridiculous.

I feel like I'm having control, but then all of a sudden I have lost 2-3 buyins, it's pretty discomforting. I also feel I'm getting the better of it versus regs, e.g. 3-betting their cut-off or button raise.

I don't quite know how to interpret the stats though. My VPIP is fairly high imo but that's because I often limp with small pp and sc when there's already been a limper.

Q6, i can't speak for everyone but pretty sure most of the people who post in here are just looking for good advice or pointing in the right direction from people with better knowledge or experience. It'd be great if u and the ssnl guys wanna be part of that, but if not no worries.

Personally I'd like it if this thread was less badbeats and dickswinging, and more actual strat and theory but thats just me, and I've certainly done too little to make it that way either

lol at these people who want to be gifted knowledge, that is not the way you learn, figure it out yourself or go to a training site/coach, you guys should be grateful if any ssnl takes there time to give you people advice, it shouldnt be the expectation of us. (Although posting trolling strat is a ****ty thing to do Q6).

just wondering how many of you guys are actually in a skype group? if not, maybe you should all make one? keep it kind of small. nomore then 8 imo. And just constantly post hands. If you're all stuck on a hand, then post it here i guess. I know Q6s would still be losing at 50nl if it wasn't for me and hu4hoes.

50nlrush, he did say "if not then no worries"....

You are right, we should all abandon 2+2 and only go on training sites when we want to learn the poker rather than coming to Beginners Questions in 2+2 and asking of the ssnl players. What bastards we've all been.

Knobby.

I think you've misunderstood what I said. I'm certainly not looking to be gifted knowledge (can't answer for everyone) but the whole point of posting hands/questions and asking for advice on a forum is that people who can help do so. That is what we were trying to do, however blindly, before it became the big boys playground.

Like I said, it'd be great if anyone from ssnl wants to stick around and help out, it is not the expectation from 'us people' as you put it, but there is not much micro players can offer in return now is there?

Again I can't speak for others, but I certainly use various different methods to try and learn including books, vids, DC membership, and here on 2+2. I think people who post in here do seem to be slightly above the habitual posts you see in BQ where they're waiting to be spoonfed a magic formula that lets you beat poker, but when you do not fully understand the maths or theory behind something, then being pointed in the right direction can certainly be helpful.

I hope you realize that the guys on 2+2 are doing you a favor spending their time to actually post strat or comment on hands here

It's not their duty and you can't criticize them for not posting/helping you and they're not obliged to do so

the guys on the training sites on the other hand are pretty much obliged to help you and if you want to play 25nl+ I think everyone should invest in coaching or at least some training site, even if it's for 1 month where you download all their videos (if this is allowed)

Noone criticised them for not helping FrostyIce. Noone demanded they helped either. The only fly in the ointment is when they get drunk and post bull**** and call it real.
