Hi guys, little question. I'm a regular player at NL25 right now, since november. Doing Ok, about to shot nl50 soon.

I used to play 6 tables till the 4 tables cap. Recently I decided to play some nl10 Zoom at party to get some rakeback. So I played 3 zoom there, then 2. I just can't win. I don't understand what is happening. Like 150k hands -$100

The idea was to play ABC and just earn the rakeback and a little at tables. It doesn't seem to work.

I didn't realy know how to addapt to zoom, played regular all life. Is there anything you could tell me so I can adjust? Thanks!

Show us your graph with the red, blue and yellow lines. Thats the only way that i can see wtf is happening to your poker career and say if you are really a winning player, maybe just running bad af.

Not saying the graph is meaningless but with 150k hands played there’s definitely way more valuable information like positional stats.

The obvious difference between regular and Zoom games is that ranges for the vast majority of bad players are significantly tighter. If you play one regular table, folding 95s from the CO after a raise and call means that you probably won’t have anything to do for the next 1-2 minutes. In a Zoom game, you can just click fold and see the next hand.

I would be suspicious about your claim of an ABC strategy that wins "a little at the tables".

Could you explain it in reasonable detail, please. Others may see what you're doing wrong and add some advice.

The zoom regs are significantly tighter than you find on regular tables, and don't pay off as often as fish do. You have to adapt to the different population, but it's hard to say exactly what adaptations you should make unless you post your stats.

this is because: I live in a poor south american country and make a living on poker. I ussualy withdraw between 250/300 month. The idea was not to lose focus on PS NL25 and just have 2/3 zoom tables playing ABC to make rakeback and use it to withdraw.

I will try to post my stats when I finish session tonight but I can't load them on HM2. I use the "import hand" button, load them, then I can't find HERO.

Maybe I can upload the partypoker file or something.

I feel like my biggest leak here is to play 3b pots too tight. Then I figure I am doing it and start raising and bluffing some and they always have it. And also I figured that most of population would missbet a lot if I check on 3b pots

this

I play on Stars and you really have to work to exploit this. Steal like crazy and fold easily when they start pounding because they always have it.

Most of them are very robotic, easy to read and don't adjust, so multiway pots are good o get in esp with fish in play.

I also find against this sort of population that position is vital. My calling range OOP HU v reg villain 100 eff stack is almost (not quite) nothing.

Deep stack play is profitable too because...well I'm not sure why but nit regs don't seem to be able to do it.

I do most of my bluffing on the flop, because once these guys get to the turn you'll be bluffing pretty strong hands most of the time.

Regs are better (not necessarily tighter), fish are still fish but they usually select better combos preflop, it can easily be more tilt inducing than reg tables, no table selection.
