Why bother with micro MTT's? Why bother with micro MTT's?

You buy in, you sit tight as the utter droolers shove all in with A5o and get two callers.
You sit tight, play premium hands in position and don't get any action while the droolers shove with 7s and get two callers.
You battle through the mid/late stages as you cant get a hand whilst everyone shoves with 10s or KQo.
You get to the final table, 8 to go when some ******** **** chases their straight draw, regardless of bet size and odds, hits 1 of their 4 outs on the river and knocks you out.
I am seriously thinking any tourny with a less than 5 bucks buy-in is an utterly futile exercise and an utter crap shoot from start to finish.

I reckon that's the plan, just cut out post-flop and shovel it in!

These aren't deep stacked tournaments with average stacks of 100+bbs.. these are fast paced games with chips flying around and stacks getting shallow quickly. A lot of times, by the time you hit the flop, it's pretty much a shove or a fold because eff. stacks are a psb or two. If people are playing crazy..but you aren't getting action, then open up your range.

Sure micro fields are huge (esp on stars) but that also allows for bigger prizes and bigger roi's. If you don't like the monster fields, play on a site with smaller fields, or play the cap games (there are several $4 1k cap mtt's)... or grind $4/180man sngs until you have the bankroll for $10 mtts (where fields are still pretty big.)

Learn to play pushbot mode. It happens in most tourneys without specific deep/long structures anyway, even at mid-high buyins.
