I think I saw somewhere that some site monitors poker sites, but can't find it. Not talking pokertablings who monitors the players, but monitors the math side of things.

A certified RNG generator is a couple of thousands of dollars at most. They would be "certified" by some national testing service. The fixed cost is so negligible compared to the other expenses a site has that skimping on it wouldn't make any sense. I'd guess that as part of the paperwork and initial licensing the website would have to show they bought and installed one.

I sense though that there is a bad beat story lurking in the background of this question. What makes you think this would need to be monitored?

Stars' RNG is currently audited/accredited by Gaming Laboratories International https://www.pokerstars.uk/poker/rng/
Unibet and MPN use other verifiers I can't remember the names of.

For sites licensed in the UK, I think it's a legal requirement. I doubt the same is true of sites that "illegally" serve the US (outside of NJ and Nevada), or are aimed at the Asian markets.

wow really nice info there.
Always keep tracking of your hands. When you collect a big amount of hands on pokertracker you will see that the maths add up OP

How much would that "big amount of hands on pokertracker" approximately be in your opinion?

I have 4 million hands in my PT4 and math adds up in many situations. But not all of it adds up. Sites seem to differ after playing 1 million on 3 separate sites and the other million was played across multi platforms.

Some has to run bad for others to run good. Just nice to know that it isn't monitored by a company hired by the poker site itself and is monitored by others who have interest in keeping people informed on its honesty.
