When to fold KK pre in a tourney?

I know the weird happenstance when you have AA in a satellite and have qualified for a transfer if you just wait out 2 micro stacked Villains to bust. You fold AA pre bc you have nothing more you can win, you can only lose.
This is a similar question, but not a satellite. You are in a big tournament and close to cashing. You have KK or QQ. Is there some combo of your stack size, position, prior action, nearness to cashing, where it makes sense to fold pre?
I'm thinking something like...
You're big blind, 3-5 players who cover you are already in the pot, so you have zero FE. Yes, you almost surely have the best hand, but you're not a huge fave against so many Vs. Lose the hand and you're toast. Win the hand and you're still not deep stacked but it gives you time to pick another spot.
I don't know how to do the math on such a situation to scientifically decide.

In icm kk becomes alot less aggressive in that it will flat when risk premium is high on final tables or bubbles. You will see as the shorter we get we want to stack off lighter though.
There are extreme icm instances where kk can become really close and that is usually why we play more passive with those holdings. Have a toy around with some icm simulations and see for yourself.. it depends on other stacks too
Usually the deeper we are the more conservative we become in extreme risk premium spots
should be called sevenfour

If you have to ask, don't fold
