There's "Busto", then there's "Robusto", then there was a term someone on here came up with to describe winning back your money during a losing session & breaking even.

Anyone remember what it was or have a link to the thread?

This.

Since I began playing 40 years ago, I've always heard about players "getting stuck for $X" and then "getting unstuck" or, sometimes, "digging out."

In most cases it's "bad player chases his losses and gets lucky."

What’s a “session” and why would it matter whether you’re ahead or behind in one? Your poker career is just one long session, at least that’s the best way to look at it.

Do you really feel any better or worse if you lose 10 buyins on Monday, then win 10 on Tuesday vs. losing 10 on Monday, getting them back, then breaking even on Tuesday? You shouldn’t; either way you broke even for that two day period. What difference does it make how it happened (so long as you played well, of course).

I appreciate this post but I'm not posting for advice tbh

It was just a classic thread made by a classic poster and I was trying to go back and read it for entertainment value
