Villian checks
Hero bets .5
Villian calls

Turn - 2c

Villian checks
Hero bets 1.65
Villian calls

Pot - 4.95

River - 3c

Villian checks
Hero bets 5.00
Villian call

Villian shows As Qd

So, where did I go wrong, other than betting out on river?

I don't see anything wrong besides playing with a rigged deck that has two 9 of diamonds.

Isolate and pot/pot/pot with a set. Seems standard.

Betting the river was your only mistake. Villain had TPTK on the flop, he wasn't going anywhere. On the turn, he added the nut FD. Again, he's not going anywhere. On the river, he makes his flush.

This hand pretty much plays itself, other than the river.
