.....to build it up into a hefty bankroll.

I'm going to pick one of the replies and go with it.

Otherwise my default is to 16-table 25NL (FR).

All replies are appreciated, thanks!

This might be too obvious but play whatever games are you best at.

Stating the obvious, but it's got to depend on how good you are.

Do you have a winning record at 25NL?

Well...I was a winner at Bodog for 25NL max, but it was pretty much all 6-max, and I was a marginal winner at 50NL 6-max (7BI downswong, then cashed out from Bodog, started with $200 at Stars)

Here, I'll post my stats and such:

Last swong is a 5BI downturn at 10NL lol...just when I thought of moving to 25NL but was tired so grinded 10NL.

This is all 16-20 tabling.

Critique is welcomed!

Depends how good you are. The lower your winrate the bigger your variance will be, and if you aren't a winner at all, no bankroll will be conservative enough.

30% ROI over 150 games, I don't see how it can be 30%, I can see 20%+ but thats what sharkscope says. my sample size isn't huge on this account so i wanted to see at least 1000 games at $5.50 to see if i can move up to $10+1. i was trying to follow the 50+ BB for the stake you will be playing at. I noticed a lot of the most winningest low stakes players stay around the $5-$10 even though they have thousands of dollars to move to $50+5 stakes etc. Possibly they withdraw a lot or just found their win rate to be most efficient at this low stake.

Also, I just think that 4 tabling at $10+1 is kinda reckless even though I have had about 11 games at that stake which ultimately lead me -$10. I'm a bit scared to stay at that level unless I had $1000

20 buy-ins is to low to play the 25NL. If you go on a bad run on the 25NL that roll of $500 can be gone quick. Your roll is good enough for $10NL so I would stick with that. You can also add in the mix sng's at $5.

Hmm....well what do you think about setting a floor of $375 to move back to 10NL if that were to happen? I read that in one of the micro FR stickies. And people also say that multitabling doesn't affect BR requirements. Although you are right, as I move up in levels I plan to increase my requirements (i.e. 30 BIs for 50NL, 30-35 for 100NL, etc to accoutn for the increased monetary swings).

Yea I used to grind $5 sngs, those were fun...sometimes lol!

if you are willing to move down, 20 buyins is enough to take a shot if you are comfortable doing so.

If you enjoy sngs... try the 4.40 180s.. you can get quite a few tables going since they fill pretty quick, they are really soft and have a good payout.

Cool, thanks Ice I might try those 4.40s at some point. I think I'm ready to take a 21BI shot. Here we go...
