What stats should I be looking at in HM3? What stats should I be looking at in HM3?

Just purchased hm3, but not too sure where I should be looking for leaks.

Over 36k hands my showdown winnings are -344, but my non-showdown is +541 - I'm guessing this is a leak, but what can I decipher from this?

I'm around +$200 in every position, but in SB + BB I am around -$370, could this indicate I am defending too wide?

Also what level should I be trying to beat a stake at? I've got 12k hands at 0.08/0.16 zoom (2c ante) with an 11.94bb/100 winrate & 9.64/100 over 7.5k hands with no ante - what sort of level would I need to qualify for coaching?

Any other suggestions at what I can look at to study leaks would be appreciated.

You are meant to lose money from the blinds

Yeah I know, but should the losses be so big?

Tamol, I suggest a little math homework to help you realize how much BAD decisions in the blinds REALLY cost you.

The math quiz: If you folded every time in SB and BB, how many bb/100 would you lose in each seat. What I am asking is...once you have invested you blind money.....if EVERY time you simply fold....what is the cost (defined here as XX)?

math Part II: how much more than XX are you currently winning or losing?

(BB....assume a raise in front and you fold. If it limps around to you and you check.... assume you fold to all aggression post flop so you "only" have paid your BB.)

I looked at my 16nl results and over 3267 hands in the bb, if I folded everything I'd be -$522, however I'm currently -$45 so that seems alright.

In the SB over 3339 hands if I folded everything I'd be -$267, and I'm currently -$176, should probably stop flatting from the SB.

Thanks for the perspective.

It’s a generally accepted principle that flatting from the SB is not a good strategy, this is a great adjustment to make to your game.

Yeah I know, I usually flat small pocket pairs/suited connectors from the SB, that's probably the main leak I think.
