I'm a winning player, 20/17/5 over 25k hands, but still grinding a bankroll @ micros having only won $100.00 during this time.

What I need is suggestions on what people think is the most efficient strategy to crush the micro's.

I'm sick n tired of fish that call 3 bets hit gutshot 4 outer str8ts or river flushes holding 45s and stupid 2pair junk hands like J3.

My bankroll is a graph of 1 step fwd, 2 steps back, 2 steps fwd 1 step back. I'd like to think I can increase my winrate at this level. The players are so bad. I basically play ABC TAG style. But it doesnt seem to be the most effective way.

I want to CRUSH the fish.

All i need is some advice on how to attack the streets post flop. Are there any general guidelines or strategy threads that anyone knows of that can help me?

Suggestions will keep me from tilting my BR to penny chasers :P

The best strategy for beating uNL .1/.2 is making a 100$ deposit and playing 5NL.

Adapt your game a bit towards the callers. You want them to call your bets and lose huge pots to you, while you fold at the first sign of trouble on the flop and lose small. Eventually this'll be a positive cashflow.
Bad players play too many hands preflop, they call with any pair or draw. They are content with just checking or calling unless they hit a set/trips, straight or flush, then they'll bet themselves.
So just play ABC poker.
- Never assume that because you believe that a player is terrible that he doesn't have a hand. All players get the same starting hands. He will be calling along with AA/KK occasionally and surprise you.
- Raise preflop so every player puts in 4 or 5 bb's.
- Bet every street if you have an overpair or top pair top kicker, they'll pay you off big. They'll even call a river bet with nothing just to see what you had.
- Don't bluff, they'll call with bottom pair anyway. C-bets are ok though, he'll fold often enough to make those profitable.
- If you're on a draw you can just check and they'll give you a free card.
- If they bet or raise you post flop, assume they're never bluffing or trying to steal the pot. Just fold and wait for the next hand.
- Play tight preflop. No use opening with JT because you'll both go for it when the flop is J high and he does get hands like KJ occasionally as well. If you play tighter and only play AJ, he'll be the one losing 80bb pots playing JT.

You will lose pots to suckouts, it's inevitable. But if you keep the pot small when you're not sure and go for the kill when you have more than one pair, you'll bleed them dry.

You're already rolled for 5nl, move up now. 30 buy ins is more then sufficent to move to 5nl.

I thought 5uNL @ Stars is a $10 buy in. So that gives me 15 buy ins ($150 BR)

I started off with $50 and have turned it into $150.00 over 25k hands)

*EDIT - Thanks to everyone for the the links to the strat threads, this is what I was after. Really good stuff!

Forgot about that. I played 10nl on Stars and am playing 5nl on FTP where it's just a 100BB Buyin. Though, if you're to go up to 200$ at 2nl, you might as well go a little further and just do 10nl.

Yes, but $5 is the standard buy in for 5NL. So you have 30 of them. I started taking shots at 20 standards, and plan to fully move once I hit 30.
