In past few months I play there because there give good opportunities. You can start from zero ( giveaway tournaments ) and build your bankroll. I didn't see that on other poker softwares...

What is player traffic on PKR like? Are the players weak?

Plenty of fish, pace of the game is slower sometimes as slow as live, but if your willing to be patient u can make alot of money. However cash games can be very frustrating at times, as the majority are bad players people call standard 3-4xbb raises with a very wide range of hands, and you'll get 2-3 callers everytime, so when u don't hit on the flop you can have no idea were you stand, but when you do hit you will get paid off bigtime.

I think most are pretty average amateurs. If you are good I guess you could make money but also lose a lot on cash games!

Yea I'm sure it's not much softer than all the other euro poker rooms. I always wanted to try out PKR to see for sure but the software is slow and weird.

Edit: does PKR have rakeback?

I'm not sure to be honest, I don't thinks so.
I would also like to say that you can find solid players on tournaments ( especially in some higher buy-in ). People play more serious there...so you need to be patient. I'm not bad tournament player but I lost almost all on cash games.

PKR was the first site I registered with online, and after playing on other sites, I find the speed the game goes at is somewhat frustrating.

Not being able to see your hold cards without actually visibly looking at them gives an extra level of tells for online play (flush check etc), and the low limit tournament blind levels are a little sick sometimes compared to the speed of play.

PKR is a good "fun" site, but I wouldn't recommend for a serious player.

This is my opinion as a low stakes player, so I can't comment on anything 200NL and higher etc

PKR does allow for rakeback, and most rakeback affiliates have an offer there. The cap is at 30% and the rakeback is auto-paid by the poker room.

Regards,

Tim

I enjoyed PKR for one tabling but above that its awful, its also extremely easy as the players are weak.

Im actually thinking about having ago on there again just for HU since the players are so bad and HU i only really one table.

PKR was the first site i ever played on, and even then (as an absolute beginner) i was able to break even, and this was without rakeback. If it wasn't for PKR i don't think i would hold a personal record of never going bust.

Since moving to a mixture of FTP and Cake i can undoubtedly say that the players at PKR are absolutely awful. I put this down to the fact that very few regs play there, and that just the make-up of the site will attract new players.

If you are just looking to play casually then i would actually recommend PKR, as it is very easy to beat, and you can make some very easy money whilst learning.

When you mention you can start from zero, I'm assuming thats if you win the freeroll. FTP and Stars have that as well.

i made my first ever online deposit there, sofeware is fun at first but after a while it gets really boring and is to slow. once i moved to FT and stars i realised sofware was so much better

i only played sng's there (play cash now) and the standard was the same as any other mirco stakes site imo.,

But there is a difference. At PKR you start with GIVEAWAY tournaments. They are sng with 10 players, first wins 6, 2nd 4 cents. When you make some money you may go to higher levels...
