So my funds from PStars is still in limbo and I'm unable to make another deposit until the refund clears back to me... but I'm looking to play some cash games.

I blew threw the $30 PStars gave me due to bad BR management and playing my buy in MTTs like they're freerolls.. obv my own mistakes. Goes to show how easy it is to not care about money when it's not yours to begin with.. lesson learned.

The issue I'm facing is finding something to do while waiting for my funds to make it back to me so I can actually deposit. I'm bored of tournaments, especially freerolls, and I've begun to really enjoy online play more than live games; not to mention with my daughter just being born I'd rather not waste time traveling to/from live games right now.

So far I've been doing a lot of reading. Can't really find any books that actually teach me much about poker, and a lot of them seem to highly conflict with each other in some fashion or another.. which has ended up making me more confused than not. So I think I just need to work on my game my way and forget about all the "I'm a pro read my book and learn nothing but how I play which is never the same as the next guy" books.

Anyway, moving on.. I'd like to play more so I can learn more but what to do while my funds are in limbo?

I've considered it but due to how difficult a time I had and the fact that those funds are still bouncing around in cyberspace, I'm not risking the chance of this happening to any other funds. Sure, the chances are slim, but I'm not willing to potentially risk losing even more to clerical errors and poor customer support*.

* While yes, they did make up for it in the end by giving me $30, which I foolishly blew on MTT's that I played like freerolls, I still have a sour taste in my mouth over the whole thing.
