Unlucky or Played Badly? Unlucky or Played Badly?

Now that I've had a look at it, I should have probably bet $0.1 or so on the flop. Reason for calling all-in was that most of the players at 2nl zoom can go all-in on any pair, from my 2-3k hand experience. Was this a difficult decision or was it an obvious fold? Min raising put me in an awkward position I think, although QJo I don't like to raise higher and I find most players who will call a $0.04 raise would have called the $0.06 raise anyway. I'm thinking I played it badly, as an AK would have re-raised preflop (Depends on the players skill I suppose) and a K10 would definitely be a possibility with such a min raise.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

Button ($0.94)
SB ($2.44)
BB ($1)
UTG ($0.90)
UTG+1 ($2)
MP1 ($2.30)
Hero (MP2) ($3.66)
MP3 ($1.05)
CO ($6.47)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, J
3 folds, Hero bets $0.04, 1 fold, CO calls $0.04, Button calls $0.04, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.15) J, A, Q (3 players)
Hero bets $0.06, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.90 (All-In), Hero calls $0.84

Turn: ($1.95) K (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($1.95) 3 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $1.95 | Rake: $0.07

Spoiler:

Results:
Button had J, A (two pair, Aces and Jacks).
Hero had Q, J (two pair, Queens and Jacks).
Outcome: Button won $1.88

Another thing I wanted to ask is: What is the EV Net Won/Lost on HEM2? It's higher than my actual Net Win/Lost, does this mean I was playing under my EV line? (If so, what does that mean, I haven't really done much with EV up until this point.)

Don't minraise, bet more on the flop.

I have a hard time laying down two pair on the flop, but if there is a flop to make that laydown I guess its this one.

Alright thanks, at least that confirms my own thoughts. I suppose all I beat would a AK on the flop. Anything less wouldn't have shoved. Ah well...just hope I remember this in the future.

I noticed that I played it badly right afterwards and made a few, what I thought were good, lay downs later in the session. So hopefully I've learned my lesson...all be it the hard way.

Make a proper open-raise of 3bb or - preferably - fold pre.
Bet 12c on the flop. On a scary flop like that, you don't want AT and AK getting a chance to draw out cheaply. Charge them by betting close to pot.
Fold to the shove. Random villains either have the straight or a better two pair.

As for EV, yes, it means that in called all in situations, you've not gained the expected share of the pots that your equity at the time of going all represented. Generally this happens because you got all in as a favourite and a villain sucked out (e.g. you went all in as an 80% favourite, but won 0% of the pot), but it's not something you can control, so you shouldn't pay a great deal of attention to the stat.

Is this 2NL Zoom? I'd probably call because villain can do this with any ace. A lot of villains shove or raise-shove pre and flop in Zoom and you need to take a note as to what they do it with.

Other than that, more pre and more on flop.

Yea, it is an easy call, you can't say he will only jam better but never bluff, that makes no sense.

Took the advice onboard and have been making better betting decisions. Also cut 2 tables down to 1. Tonight was an awful mess of suckouts I feel, both for me and against me. Flopped sets back to back, then lost AA vs KK all-in pre. Might give Zoom a break, it seems kind of hit'n'miss.

Raise more pre-flop and learn this at 2NL. 4bb +xbb when xlimpers.

Now, I think you can get to a lot of difficult spots by openning JQoff from MP. So better fold it. Open it in unopened pots from the button.

As played you have to call flop mostly bc it's 2NL as others said.

Fold pre, kind of a garbage hand IMO. if you want to play it try raising it more so maybe you cant take the blinds.
