How long does it generally take for you to have a good feeling for the table. For example know who are the tight players, who are the bad players, who 3bets every steal and so on... And how many hands does the HUD generally need to have saved in order for you to have a decent amount of information on the other players?

In my live play it doesn't take too long to get a general opinion and then you just need to back it up with some play .. if they play.

1) age and clothes
2) stack size and timing tells
3) bet ratios and position
4) drinking, talking
5) sudden behavior changes in the middle of a hand

Online the more the merrier, I can't imagine that anything less than 2-400 hands would give you a more solid opinion. A player certainly could be on a rush for 10-15 orbits, which would fill you with a bunch of false readings. GL

as deep as stats go, more hand you need... for pfr/vpip a decent amount is 100 hands, and a good amount is 1k... for cbet 50 opportunities, for 3bet 1k hands and so on....
but in the final stages you are more focus to that table and can complain in 50 hands for example that villain is 3betting light

Playing live some players will look away from the table when they have a decent hand. Some players will stare you in the eyes when they are bluffing. Just like the bluff that the guy made in the movie rounders when he said theres plently more where that comes from. He was staring directly at matt damon.

blinking lots is common as well for bluffs.
Looking at cards when theres a flush draw.

acting weak. usually means strong. acting strong usually means weak. '

making a tic sound means strong sometimes.

how they stack their chips. if its messy means loose. if its stacked nice tight.
if they stratch their nose when you ask them are you bluffing? or do you have the A? usually means they are lieing.

timing is off. if you ask if they have it and they say a statement or question and they smile after they make the statement or question usually means they are lying. for example if they say yes i have it call and they smile after they say it they are bluffing. strong means weak again here general rule.

if you ask have you got one of the aces. they will say no i dont have ONE of the aces. or yes i have ONE of the aces. key word is ONE

Lots of times they wont respond and say the word ONE. but sometimes they do especially if theres drinking.

theres all sorts of stuff mate.

Online theres timing tells. Especially in heads up games they will check very quickly and you can bet and take down the pot. if they bet the pot on the river usually they have a made hand. if they bet into a muti pot they usually have a hand. cbet's are usually half the pot.

Learn to get people comfortable. How to win friends and influence people is a good book. they might be nervous when they have AA shaking of the hands. then go to AA after they lose and go to the bar and get smashed.
