At the lower levels, a decent chunk of money seems...... unrealistic.
I assume you were wildly successful online in the past to even assume you have a chance now.... so your mileage may vary. The online games available from the USA are not remotely the same as they were pre-Black Friday.
I know the games are infinitely harder today and I am aware of how much GTO has changed the way people play the game. I've played on and off a bit over the last few years. As hard as it is, though - do players still start in the micros and move up the stakes to a level where they are making like $50k+ in cash games? What about MTT's? I mean, anyone can bink and make their whole year but are there people who play MTT's online, full time, in the US today who manage to get by on nothing else?
If it's mostly semi pros and pros at the tables, then they must be earning enough to justify their time spent, right?
