I am currently reading The Grinders Manual which came highly recommended and it's been great so far for someone who hasn't played since Black Friday - and was only playing micros at that point as well.

The book talks heavily about using HUDs and incorporating it into a dynamic approach but unfortunately Global Poker doesn't allow HUDs as it's browser based. I have an account with BOL as well but it doesn't appear that anything works there anymore either.

So my question is, is there a site where US players can play that works with software akin to Poker Tracker?

betonline you can use a hud you just need poker tracker + betonline hand converter

ACR and Bovada both allow huds

You won't be thanking me when you get nagy'd, but best of luck to you anyway. They do at least offer rakeback and deposit bonus. IIRC you can get switched to a flat rakeback % if you ask chat, as opposed to going through their loyalty tiers. For most casual players the flat rakeback works out to a better return.
