Relatively new to online, been playing live for 5+ years, I hear alot of talk about table selection. I am a TAG and play mainly PLO 6 handed, Alsoplay PLO 8/b some as well....stakes .10/25 and .25/.5.

What do you look for in table selection? I usually look for one with an open seat, and preferrably with a lot of short stackers, I'll shy away from any tables with 2-3 stacks that are 200+bb.

Any thoughts on table selection would be helpful.

generally look for tables with high average pot size and high % of players to the flop as this will give you the tables where there is the most action (loose) so go there and play tag - that normally works

If you play on Stars you can sort the way in which the tables display by right clicking on the bar containing table name/limit/# players etc........

BTW looking for tables with lots of short stackers will make you less money in the long run as there will be less money to win.

i agree with this point, but it seems like (at least on stars uNL) nearly everyone buys in short
