Hello, I am doing a survey for my master thesis which is about methods of studying in poker (NLHE only). I need all kinds of players, recs, semi-regs, top-regs... MTT, CG, SNG all needed. So far I got a lot of high stakes friends filling in, but I am missing some lower stakes players, so this seems like a perfect part of the forum. I will be very grateful to everyone who fills it out. Should not take long. It might also serve as an inspiration about how to study better, since there is a lot of sites or apps listed there. After completing you will also get a link where I will be putting some interesting results. If anything in the survey interested you and you want to ask something about it, feel free to ask, I am glad to help.
Cheers and good luck at the tables!

Hello again. I promised you some interesting results, so here are some. (435 respondents)

Players could rate themselves as a rec, experienced rec, aspiring pro, semi-pro and pro. This table shows how these groups rate different methods of studying from 1 to 5. Percentage in blue next to it shows how many of those have experience with that method. For example only 10 % of recreational players had experience with video subscription.

This shows viewbase of some larger poker Youtube channels. (text above and under is Czech, but easily understandable as the type of players are in the same order - rec, exp. rec, asp. pro, semi-pro, pro.

If we were to average it out by giving recs skill level 1, experienced recs 2, aspiring pros 3, semi-pros 4 and pros 5, then this would be average skill level of viewbase. Sorry Dnegs.
