Strategy, theory and math for beginners Strategy, theory and math for beginners

I learned all my beginner theory and math from reading books, but nowadays with so many training videos around, most people are too lazy to read a lot of books as they're beginning.

I'd like to know if anyone knows of a good set of videos that covers some of the basic concepts such as calculating odds, what each type of pocket hand is and what it's good for, concepts like bluffing frequencies, giving free cards, the requirements for successful check-raising, etc.

Mathematics of NL Holdem by Wilt on Tilt, at DeucesCracked may be what you're looking for.

Although this:

(which I happen to agree with) might be a great argument for also reading books.

Good Luck.

The video series DD mentioned is excellent. Try out DC for a week and watch as many beginners' vids as you can.

I liked the vids from leak buster on check-raising. Also apex predator from DC is sweet.
