Guys, had a really strange session on Stars last night.

There was a player at the table (10nl) who played 92/58 over 150 hands. I don't want to post his PTR but he is down over $12K at 10nl with a bb/100 of -65 over 20,000 hands! I'm not really sure what to make of it.. it seems only rational that no player could possibly be so bad. For example, he would call an all in of 15$ on a 4 club board with 9 high. In other cases, he would check back top two pair or a set on the river. I mean I'm happy he continued to buy in over and over again but the circumstances around it were very strange. Has anyone else seen this / what's going on here?

What surprised me the most was that the other players at the table did not adjust their game at all. To be honest it felt as if I was playing with four bots and an ATM.. No one made an effort to isolate the aggro player or paid any attention to his ridiculously wide calling range on massive overbets. I mean I usually play 21/15 or so but I was up to 50/42 by the time I left the table. Everyone else was rolling along at about a 9/7 clip.

I ended up leaving about $75 up for the session but more than anything, I was just extremely confused. I don't want this to be a "look at me, I got lucky blahblah" thread because 75 isn't much and that's not the point. Wtf was going on?

That's a dream table for me. Doesn't matter how bad or strange the guy is, just take his money.

Dont try to make sense of it... just add him/her to buddy list!

Add to buddy list and wait list every game he is in!! It's perfect to have a bunch of 9/7 players and a total psycho donation-giver!

This just reminds me of a table in NL25 we had yesterday in FTP.
There was a guy opening from 2BB to 20BB everytime and almost going all-in 95% of times postflop or pf if somebody re-raised. It was prety hilarious.

There was some fighting for his money but at the end every1 got his share (like 4BI at least) and he kept buying. He probably gave around 400 or 500$.

My friend was playing in a game like that yesterday on FTP (25NL 6 max). He said that the guy was down about 800$ and there was a person sitting at the table with 500$+ @ 25NL thats crazy... wonder if it was same game.

It sure was a dream table.. Stayed up till he finally left around 4:30 in the morning. He is definitely on my buddy list now.

That session on FTP sounds nuts. I can't imagine what would get someone on such monkey tilt but count me in!

Probably somebody with some cash to burn who just doesnt like to be bluffed and wants to see what everyone had. Basically paying for information. Sorta like watching a televised game for him.
