Learning NLHE (not poker) is a pretty simple process:

1) learn not to do incredibly dumb **** that costs you money

2) once you've stopped doing incredibly dumb ****, learn to recognise when there are players that you can exploit and take their mobnies

3) learn how to do that

4) learn to leave the table if there's nobody there to exploit

That's it. Simple as. If that doesn't leave you with any games to play and you feel the need to go into a GTO black hole to get 0.0350 bb/100, then gl and hf

There is a lot of truths in this post.

If youŽre serious about the GTO stuff, youŽll end up becoming a stronger theorectical player. If you keep learning, keep playing and keep gaining experience, youŽll then become a stronger overall player. A stronger overall player will be better suited to find and exploit any leak from any player type == higher winrate than 0.0350 bb/100

Maybe there are softer hidden sites out there, but I doubt you can go past nl10 at stars if the only thing you know is how to exploit obviously bad players.

Need a lot of patience, emotional control and it might take years until you learn it. Consider you might have better things to do with your free time than wasting it with a dumb game unless you really like it.

This is my GTO reading list. Although, it's not in chronological order

1. Mathematics of Poker, Billy Chen and Jerrod Ankenman

Math intense. If you are a math wiz then this is for you. Although, how much math do you really you need at the tables?

2. Play Optimal Poker: Practical Game Theory for Every Poker Player

For intermediate players. It can teach you how Game Theory arrives at solutions and why it matters.

3. Applications of No Limit Holdem, Matthew Janda

For advanced players. A very good GTO starting point! It will help you to grasp when Game Theory can/can’t be used.

4. Modern Poker Theory: Building an Unbeatable Strategy Based on GTO Principles

This book is authentic and for me the best GTO book on the market. Authoritative, informative, and authentic - includes many techniques not seen elsewhere.

If you need more info about GTO books you can have a look at the post I have written The Best Books On Poker To Learn GTO?
