I'm not a poker beginner, but definitely have ignored all of the software and tools that go along with online poker until recently so I'm new to almost all software.
I play .5/1 and 1/2 PLO. After each session, I review each of the big hands I played and type the results into the twodimes.net odds calculator to ensure I was putting my largest bets in +EV situations. I'm pretty nitty, so usually in a 300 - 400 hand session there are only 10 - 15 hands that I end up calculating.
My question is whether there is software that exists that analyzes how much pot equity I have in comparison to how much money I put in the pot? Any advice on tools or other time saving tips to automate this process would be appreciated!
If other people do similar exercises, how do you handle when a player loses and doesn't show? I usually "make up" the most likely drawing hand that missed for them, but would like advice on how to better model this based on a larger range of hands.
ProPokertools is pretty much the nuts when it comes to this sort of thing, especially since the recent changes which allow you to specify ranges even more accurately.
The hand replayer in OmahaManager will tell you your equity against known, specific hands, as well as the pot odds, which is interesting, but of course in play, you're never deciding what to do against specific hands, but against a range.
After a ton of searching and reading, I've found that a Sklansky Bucks calculator is what I'm asking for. PokerEV is just what I need except, I'm using Pokertracker 3 and it is not yet compatible.
Does anyone know how to convert PT3 to PT2 database? Or are their other products that will work off of at PT3 database?
