      Was a favourite on the flop too. Top two pair only 18% to win the hand, but you know... we'll let him bink this time around.

      Probably my most swingy session. up 5bb's and a BI under EV after numerous good decisions that still somehow had me losing the hand.

      2 hands. Both probably fps. Would like feedback on these (somewhat) non-standard lines.

      Villain is a reg.

      H1: Don't think many people raise with a Q on boards like these. At least that's what the material i've been studying on DC says. Mostly it's flush draws and straight draws (which all brick) meaning I can get called by a lot worse as my range looks polarized OTR (mid PPs).

        H2: Think this line gets max value from high PPs. If we 3 barrel he can fold his TT-JJ but I think this way we can get a call. Also, we have the Ac blocker so we can be pretty confident he hasn't got any flushes in his range (KQ would most likely flat pre).

          depends on how much of a leak villain has. If he has a 100%cbet and 30% DB and XFs a large amount OTT then I can see flatting 73s IP being +Ev. Always good to be trying to scrape every last cent of Ev out of these situations.

          I'd call flop though more often than not depending on this tendencies. We have SDV and can jam a lot of turns.

            Of course, never advising you all call here or play like this. One of the few instances I stationed and it worked.
            09-30-2013 , 07:00 AM
            @stude you have SDV on both flop and turn no need to bet
            09-30-2013 , 07:49 AM
            @Oly re H2, it's not a standard 'flatting an UTG open spot', it's 'flatting an UTG min open + MP cold call guaranteed to be in position with a super-special-fun-hand'. 53s plays surprisingly well IP a lot of the time (obviously I'm not looking to flop pairs really).
            09-30-2013 , 07:55 AM
            I'm just more likely to flat suited connectors rather than suited 1 gappers, unless the players in the hand are likely to call off your small flush or play rather fit/fold post-flop.

            And what if he bets, are we calling or folding?

            On another note, does stars ever offer reload bonuses?
            Thinking of moving my roll there but would like some incentive.
            All they offered me was unlimited 100k freerolls

            Obviously I'm also flatting 54s, 43s in this spot.

            basically you don't want more than one bet going in so we will probably call once and fold to DB.

            You just need to keep asking yourself does he call with worse or fold better. With 88 here neither is true on the flop or turn. Highest Ev is trying to get to showdown.

            What are your WTSD, W$SD and WWSF stats? Looks like your probably leaking there.
            09-30-2013 , 09:07 AM
            WTSD = 27.8
            W$SD = 56.56
            WWSF = 40.83

            I suspect the last one is low.
            09-30-2013 , 10:23 AM
            Based on the first two it looks like you're missing some value bets.
            09-30-2013 , 02:31 PM
            Since ctfd told me he caught me playing 18/10 on the FR tables of like a 440 hand sample

            If anyone is struggling , my advice would be to tighten up your cold calling range( leaning towards folding junky hands like 22-66 and 45s-98s especially OOP)

            Now my reg games are 2 tables 25nl zoom and 18 tables of reg 25nl games, and I run a 14/11

            That's strange. I was expecting a low W$SD and WTSD because it seemed to be that your betting hands too often that are too thin or there is no value which would make it difficult to get to showdown and you would also lose often when you do get to showdown.

            Like you said your WWSF is quite low which basically means your not fighting for your fair share of pots. Preferably you want it to be above 44%. So look out for spots where villains range is weak(and when your range is strong) and look to put a tad more pressure.

            A high WTSD and W$SD could mean your not value betting or value raising thin enough like TDA said. In future if your in a spot where you are unsure whether raising or calling is best(ie your at the top of your calling range) just try a raise. Same for top of your checking range, just bet it. So if you would usually only triple barrel AK on Axxxxr try it with AQ as well.

            Having a high WTSD and W$SD isn't all that bad when you think about it so WP but it can still be improved on.
