$1/$2. $100 - $300 BI
$300 BI, +$672
1.25 hour session. I'm running hot in the sense that more often than not, there is a huge mark at my live tables. It's a little annoying, I left 2 orbits after the mark left. On literally the last hand I played, the mark came back since he made an atm run. My chips were literally all racked up and ready to go, I didn't wanna be like "oh YOU'RE back, nvm I'll play a few more hands!"
It's fine though, booking a ~1k session >>> winning a little more. I was scared money at that point anyway, never had near 1k on the table before. Now my cousins think I can make $672/hr playing poker. I tried telling them it's literally impossible to pull that off at these stakes and I just got lucky there was a guy at my table that really sucked, but obv they didn't listen.
Guess I'll include a hand
I straddled the BTN (mark + rocks + btn straddles = YAAAAAAAAY)
SB folds
BB checks
Mark (utg) raises to $12
3 other callers in MP
Hero (btn) raises to $50 [AJo]
Mark calls, 1 player in MP calls
Side note - initially I thought this table was really loose passive, but over time I realized that people were just calling the mark's raises to play pots with him. My UTG raises were smaller and just taking up the blinds. Translating that to this hand, AJo is the effective nuts in this spot so I raised. Aside from the mark, everyone else is essentially a rock
Flop - A23r
Mark checks, MP checks
Hero bets $100
Mark shoves for $250 more
MP folds, Hero calls (covers mark). Mark shows 88 and whiffs turn and river
