I filtered my 6max zoom db for hands where any villain open raised and 4bet UTG or MP with >80bb stack ...
Forget the rest of that post, filters were messed up. The "junk hand" sample also included all hands that didn't go to showdown. The real sample of non premium hands at showdown when 4bet UTG/MP is <20%. As it turns out, UTG/MP 4bet has been AK/KK+ 75% of the time so far at uNL ZOOM (with way more weight on KK+ than AK). If I add QQ and AQ it goes up to 80%, not many people 4bet those. So giving villain a default range of KK+/AK will not be very far off.
This analysis will of course still be skewed as the sample size is not that big and people are also more likely to get to showdown with their premium hands. But still, 5betting QQ 100bb+ deep vs UTG 4bet would be a big mistake imo.
Do you still think calling is a good idea though? If so I want you to really explain why. (assuming you want to)
100bb deep calling with QQ becomes very questionable actually. The hand I posted above was 300bb deep, which makes setmining a viable option when we are in position.
3bet/folding QQ 100bb deep sounds really nitty, but apparently that might be the right thing to do. 3betting is still correct, because they flat oop way more often than they 4bet.
fwiw calling is pretty bad in both situations there are just much better hands to play postflop for QQ to be a hand we are thinking about playing due to being deep against a range of AK+, KK+. Where we can actually have hands which flop equity and have blockers. You need to construct scenarios to see how best to create your range when you expect certain conditions to be met.
100bb deep we really need a major read for flatting a 4bet w/ QQ to be profitable and once again it's ranges that are much more important in reality anyway.
Some seriously maniac fish around in my last session.
Pretty much every other orbit you'd get an open raise, a call, and a 3 bet all in.
With hands like TT which would be called by KQo and the like.
Standard here, but cheers iPoker! Didn't have many hands on this villain but he donked flop every opportunity he got.
Should have raised flop I suppose.
BTN shows T 9 (Three of a Kind, Nines) (Pre 14%, Flop 22%, Turn 11%) Hero mucks J J (Two Pair, Jacks and Nines) (Pre 86%, Flop 78%, Turn 89%) BTN wins $4.84
Don't think I can fold 22 to a small 3bet from someone who has done it 3 times out of 6.
Semi bluff raised flop probably never getting a fold tbh so no fold equity.
But wtf was he doing on the turn?
I suppose that's how aggro donks win their money!
^^ i'm sure dunna will email you the higher quality zip like he said and you don't have to watch the whole thing. Even a review of the first 15 min would be helpful.
Making notes dunna - will post when done.
These things need to be 1hr as nothing much happens for ages.
Just had a rough session.
Loads of aggro donks raising with TP crappy kicker and also the nuts, hard to know which was which.
This donk limp called every hand pretty much. One of those you want to bet bet bet against.
Hand 3 he probably has the nuts (or what he perceives to be the nuts) and wants to make it look really bluffy.
Hand 4 Unless he's cbetting a lot I don't really see the point in raising, we basically have a set or flush draw and he likely calls too wide and doesn't cbet enough. That 4 just makes your range weaker and doesn't scare villain at all so there's probably not a huge amount of point in betting. Especially due to the fact that if we check we likely get a free card which is always nice and if he bets we can be pretty sure we're beat. However that's assuming he's passive.
Also I think folding pre isn't bad, but if you can properly justify calling then I doubt it's horrible.

Back at the 5NL grind. Trying to build a roll on Bovada while I get back in the swing of things. NJ is gonna have online poker soon and I want my game to be sharp. Deposited 60 and got 10 bonus so +3 BI over a small sample.
@Gamma, H1, wtf is he calling there for, if you know?
H2, I prob fold even with your note because I wouldn't be surprised to see AQdd or AKdd with his line and we're never more than 70%-ish really. Some bad regs will even spazz jam like 77 there because they don't want to have to deal with OCs.
