I noticed everytime raise or reraise AA or KK nobody ever seems to call or jam all in. I read that thats what you do with these top pair but its getting frustrating seeing these top hands never being played. I guess thats what s different from MTT's and cash games. Also i read that you raise AA KK QQ JJ 1010. If someone bets let say from under the gun, do you go ahead and re-raise with JJ or 1010? Like i said before i am new to cash games so any advice would be appreciated go easy on me haha.

If no one is calling, you should be raising a lot more hands.

No. You just expand your range a bit.

So, you're telling me, that if it's folded to you on the CO (for example), you're not raising hands like 99-66, AJ, KQ, axs?

You start adding in more hands to raise until they start playing back at you. If no one is ever calling a raise, then yes, raise with any old hand. But that's not going to happen. Eventually they will all start calling or reraising to get back at you.

Yes, you should increase your raise frequency. Whether you do that with more marginal value hands (a merged range) or with more pure bluffs (polarized range) depends on the game and how good you are post flop.

Where/how do you play? If online, what are your stats?

If Players are constantly folding to your 'raises' (opens) then you very well could be playing a style that is much too tight to be successful long term. Try to find some PF charts and compare them to how you have been playing. You don't want to get too crazy when you are the opening bettor since you will end up folding a lot of Flops when you miss or get caught being out-kicked at Showdown.

If Players are constantly folding to your 're-raises' (3-bets) then you will want to consider doing this more often. This is where you can (perhaps) mix some junkier hands since you are fine with taking the pot down right now and/or you have a hand that's easy to fold when you miss. 3-betting with marginal hands gets even trickier since the pot is now bloated and you will feel obligated to continue if you connect.

This is not a pure strategy section, but in general if you think your opponents are folding too often then you need to do whatever it is you're doing more often until they start to fight back. GL

PS .. sorry, your sizing could also be a big indicator of your hand strength. Bet sizing tells are pretty obvious, but they are also the easiest to correct.

If no one consistently calls your reraises then reraise with some other hands and occasionally put your AA and KK into your calling range (not always, people will catch on to you calling with AA/KK and may start calling your 3bets. So you will have to have some AA/KK in there, too).
