I saw this question posed on a facebook group, and I actually got it wrong the first time I tried.

On the turn, what is the most number of outs you could have, assuming that your hand is currently behind your opponents?

I think every time that question gets asked here, the answer is 25. Did you get a higher one?

No Spewing, you’re not going to fool me. Like I tell my dog when she tries to fool me into giving her another cookie, “I know your tricks, I know all your tricks.”

No, I’m not going to say it is 22 outs from the 46 remaining in the deck, which means you don’t have 50% or greater equity against the opponent group.

I’m not going to say that because I know all your tricks, Spewing.

You would have enjoyed the conversation. There was one poster insisting that you had to reduce the remaining cards number by the number of discarded and burnt cards. Not sure he ever got why that wasn't valid.

Is your answer from the 42 cards remaining in the deck?

depends on number of opponents and if you have seen their cards and or can infer some of them.
those that think that isnt valid are blind.
