Hey guys. I'm currently reading Harrington on Hold'em vol 1.

I'm about a third of the way in and encountered two things I didn't understand.

1. How do you calculate the probability that your opponent will call if you make your hand, and how do you add this to the pot to calculate your implied odds?

2. Is it correct in this situation to count my Ace and King as 4 outs, instead of 6 or 0? Is this objectively the right way to play, instead of just counting all 6, or just counting 0 and just using the 9 flush draw outs? Also, why is it averaged to 4?

Thank you for your help. Please explain it as clearly and simply as possible. I'm slow at understanding things.
