So a proper bankroll to start at .01/.02 would be 160 and for .05/.10 would be 800 using proper bankroll management? Ive played in 1/2 dollar games and won but losing buy ins hurt. What are some good bankroll management strategies?

Wat?

Who told you that you needed to have 80 buy-ins to move up a level?

You could follow the 25/15 or 20/15 rule. pretty standard 25 buyins at next level move up, go under 15 buyins at current level move down.

WTF 80 BI? lol your crazy just use the 20 BI rule for the micros

40 = NL2
100=NL5
200=NL10
500 = NL25
1k = NL50 once you get into SSNL then you need to becmoe a bit nittier with your bankroll due (25-30BI is what I follow) to variance going up, and not having as much edge on your opponents (less fish obv). But at the micro's 20BI should be enough if your a decent player.

It depends on your winrate. 20 should be enough at the micros if you're a decent player. At higher levels you're better off running a system where you play slightly underrolled but drop down levels once you get below a certain number of buyins.
