i started playing 2 tables then i moved to 4 and showed a steady profit, i then increased my tables to 6 and my winrate varies far more. i even tried 8 today which was the same. do i need to buy a HUD ?in order to play more then 4 as im unable to concentrate on the action on the tables when im not taking part in a hand

Yeah u need a HUD to play more than 2 tables.

No one is capable of keeping track of more tables unless they are Rainman.

If you want to win at cash online you are going to have to get a hud for anything above the very low micros where the majority of the players are ******ed. I would try some of the trials for HEM and PokerTracker I am sure you will notice how much it helps to improve your game.

You don't *NEED* a HUD, but they sure do help.
I know of people you multi table with no HUD, but you have to be on the ball, and be good at remembering who's been raising. A HUD is just easier.

Hud is essential if you play more than 6 tables IMHO.

Why?

As you increase the # of tables, you decrease your time for analysis of your opponents. Thats where HUD stats come in handy.

Def on buying a HUD. You might also think about getting Table Ninja. It'll help u to automate your moves ( for example hitting the time bank ) so u can add more tables.

This is just not true. Yes, most people use HUDs, and yes, they are useful. But most people also misapply the information, and they are certainly not a requirement.
