I have a stupid question.
I am going to buy HM2 or PT4 after the trial is over, but I am not sure if the "Small Stakes" version covers the micro stakes.Should I buy the full version or the small stakes version if I want to play at the micros?

Small Stakes will work for even smaller games too

It is only for cash games.

It is a really good program though. If you spend some time with it, i think most players would get alot out of it. I've had it for awhile, and am still learning new ways to use it. it has a lot of filters for all kinds of different scenarios. And the training content included is pretty good as well.

HEM2 small stakes version is for limits up to: 50NL, .50/$1 FLH and up to $22 buy-in tournaments.
I'm not sure about PT.

Hem2 has fixed a lot of the bugs.

Personally i believe it is more user friendly, and easier to interrogate.

It pretty much just comes down to personal choice imo

I use PT4 for hud. HM1 for results tracking and HM2 for analysis. Neiher HM2 or PT4 can import my old hm1 DB. And PT4s filter system is absolutely horrible to use when changing filters often. It is also slower than HM2 in applying the filter changes.

Why to use PT4 for the HUD ?

I had no problem uploading my HM1 database into HM2.

If you're having trouble maybe try the forum or support thread, but pretty sure you should be able to do this?

Yeah, that comment surprised me, too.
Pretty much the first thing HM2 wanted to do was find my HM1 database and import it (which it did, no problem).

Where could I find the following functionality in PT4? It seems to be very non-intuitive, how could I invoke it.
I've gone thru main menu, my reports, statistics, even PT4 tutorial on site, cannot find it....

Notetracker in PT4 at least the last time i saw it, was like a super stirpped down version of Notecaddy. Notecaddy i think was kind of similar in the beginning, but has added some really cool features with the badges, spark graphs, etc.

It is a similar situation with PT4's Leaktracker, it will give you some stat ranges, but something like Leakbuster really gives in depth analysis of your database, and has a lot more features, training content, etc

The programs that are included in PT4 are free though, where you have to purchase the other programs.

PT4 Note Tracker can take notes while playing. Can Note Caddy do this too ?

Does Notes made by Note Caddy look the same or at similar to these ones:

or they are just colors red/green/yellow and so on ?

Yes, NoteCaddy notes are text comments, similar to the ones you show.
NoteCaddy can also present its info in SparkGraph and CaddyScatter format.
There's plenty of colour-coding options, as well.

PT4 hud is better. HEM does not support custom stats.

EDIT: Or i think you might be able to do custom hudstats in HEM via notecaddy. But its 60 dollar extra.

You can do custom stats with notecaddy, that's true. Also, NC allows you to add stats that PT cannot. For example:
-YOUR VP$IP over the hands you've played with each opponent.
-Stats versus players similar to yourself (folds to TAGs cbets etc)
-Any versus hero stat you dream of, even in reverse e.g. how often each player has been 3 bet by you.

Like freak daddy says, you get what you pay for
