I think the Holdem Manager 2 is better than Poker Tracker 4 because there are more interesting reports in HM2. But maybe I don't understand something in PT
I've read back several pages of this thread someone noted that both PT4 & HM2 both use 6-13GB of hard drive space per 1 million hands. I use a 128GB SSD for Windows and my main applications. Can I just redirect the hand history storage location to my secondary larger hard drive with PT4 or HM2 like I do with my other programs like itunes, etc??
I too am trying to decide PT4 or HM2. I don't really care to try both and evaluate...if I pick one and go with it, I'll never know the difference and what I'm missing out with the other one. I was going to go with the cheapest option for my 50NL & 100NL limits. If you take into consideration cost, I was going to go with HM2. However, maybe the intuitive interface of PT4 is worth the extra $$. Thoughts?
You can install postgresql to a different/larger drive but you will lose performance vs having the database stored on the SSD. The original hands that get processed/archived can be archived to the other drive without a performance hit.
