I dunno which forum to post this in but I will post here.

I'm looking to do some form of charity to put players either into live tournaments or online tournaments. That's my only condition is that the players actually play the poker tournaments and I can see their progress while they play them. 100% of winnings goes to the players who I donated to and they can spend it on whatever they want.

I thought I would do this instead of giving 10% of my wages each week to a proper charity helping homeless people. I'd rather give 10% to poker players to play tournaments and get the enjoyment of seeing their progress at the same time.

Myself I do this for totally selfish reasons. I don't do it to get a pat on the back for being a good bloke it's done to make me feel good and feel gratitude in a sense that I have enough money to be able to do something like this. It's a personal thing rather than a image thing and I do encourage everyone else to do the same thing but it's not everyones cup of tea to give their hard earned money to others in the form of charity. There's a theory about dopamine in the brain is activated when doing charity.

I dunno how I am going to set it up. I can't really log onto stars and transfer money to players on there since I live in a restricted area. I could transfer to bank accounts, bitcoin addresses or player transfers on ACR and other sites. I'm looking at about $75 US total in donations at this stage each week to be donated.

I'm just wondering if there's anyone whos a beginner to poker who might be interested in having a starting roll to be able to play some tournaments? Or others who might wanna play a larger tournament that's out of their bankroll and wanna take a shot?

Just putting this out there to see if anyone would be interested in something like this.
