so i currently grind out 50nl and make a decent amount perday.. DO i have to pay taxes on this in canada?, i know anything u win in canada is NOT taxable so does this include my poker winnings????

Fine line, you should ask either a lawyer or an accountant. I asked a friend who's an accountant once, and he wasn't entirely sure.

I have asked 3 different people, two of them work for the government in Ottawa, and they said that poker winnings are not taxable in Canada, neither is the lottery.

gambling is not taxable in canada unless the goverment can prove that it's your on source of income.
For instance, if you have a FULLTIME job making about 50k a year and you play online making 30k a year. You have nothing to worry about as the government will chalk it up to gambling variance. Now if you make 100k a year and have a part time job making 20k a year, I think you might have to pay taxes.

This is what I have come to understand, but it is all hearsay, so I suggest you do some research yourself.
