Moreover, it cost you a huge jackpot since now you are only using one hole card to make your hand.

You hit a one-outer to a Royal Flush and it cost you money.

I have seen this happen to a guy at my table. No jackpot no matter how insistent he and the other players were. I didn't bother to help him win the futile argument since I know how these things work.

I don't get the point of this fictional hand?
