If someone who plays 2NL could record their FTP's, play for 60 minutes, note the FTP's and reply to this post with the total FTP's gained in that hour, plus the number of tables played, I'd appreciate it.

Trying to figure out if grinding cash games is worth it to clear this bonus...

Let me tell you in advance, clearing this below 25NL is suicide imo, unless you put in sick volume, I get $20 every 1.1k hands or so (estimate) @ 50NL, so you can imagine what it'd be like at 10NL, and even more so at 2NL..

why does everyone lately want to play to clear a bonus...thats always bad poker because your just trying to get the quanitiy up but not the quality

If your referring to the holiday hundred on FT I accepted it yesterday, I play 10NL, played a little over 1k hands last night and it cleared $6. So about 16-17k hands at 10NL is what I figure. No problem for me in 1 month but at 2NL good luck.

like the other said good luck at 2nl. Maybe at the PLO tables but even then it will take a long time.

yea 10Nl its pretty fast cause of the crazy rake 6$ per 1k hands sounds right which is reasonable to clear in 1 month. At 2NL when i was grinding it and the biggest bonus ever was running i played like 20k hands for 12$ of bonus. No way your clearing this below 10NL ( maybe 5NL with 50k hands?)

If you're trying to clear the Holiday Hundred bonus at Full Tilt I wouldn't bother trying at 2NL. 1667 FTP's in a month at 2NL? LOL. NO.

if you play during happy hours with at least 6 tables it goes quite fast. otherwise it's slo-mo.

one tabling 0.02/0.05 nl gets me around 3 to 4 points per hour(around 70 hands)...if that helps.

Unless ftp made a real dumb drastic change... it only counts base ftps.. and bodhi.. quit worrying about the bonus so much and just play poker.. whatever you clear is great, but focus on winning and getting out of 2nl instead.

My first deposit was for $50 I built it up to $100 then played 25nl that is how i cleared it. Obviously not proper BR management though i had it built up to $250 and because of bad BRM and Variance I went busto. I still cant grind out 2nl if I have more than $30 on my acct'.

How much did you deposit or do you have to clear?

I thought happy hr helped but I could be wrong. I was 4 tabling so that could have been why.

It's a real bit** and I might move up to 25nl to grind out the bonus but I cleared a deposit bonus at 10nl, just took a couple of weeks.

Its like 160FTPs per $10 isn't it?

Got a new DB due to HD failure overwise I would have some nice info for you in relation to this. On varying levels of Mt'ing.

In new DB I've played like 1K hands with MT ratio of 3.88 and rake of $1.66 over 200mins. $0.06 per FTP. Am sure you cld do the math.

If you're not a break even player at 2NL then I suggest don't bother trying to clear $100, the volume will kill you're roll if you cant break even or multitable.

If you are and can multi table then be happy with an extra $20 in a month, anything more is a bonus.
