Nh, but I think I prefer c/c turn, c/r river, in case he manages to fold AK to the turn raise.

And we can colour in a picture of aubergines at that time too!

Why the small iso pre? Loose blinds?

Why the big turn raise?
02-10-2013 , 03:00 PM
I alrdy told u about pre and it seemed he unlikely to donk/fold so prob better to go more vs a fishie who jus limp called pre.. I was more thinking he had like Kx spades n was trying to buy a cheaper riv
02-10-2013 , 03:12 PM
Ah, understood your post wrong.
02-10-2013 , 03:42 PM
How often do u guys 3bet QQ vs btn opens when in blind?

N what makes u not do it?

Well I guess im mainly wondering vs unknowns, obv if he a nit u wouldnt 3bet it or if he doesnt fold to 3bet alot, u would do it
02-10-2013 , 03:58 PM
Rightly or wrongly I'd auto 3bet QQ unless I have reads they fold a stupid amount (I presume u mean that rather than doesn't fold alot?)

Too many Ax and Kx BTN opens for me to not want to, especially at the micros. Not to mention so many bad players are calling and folding flops which they'll fold post flop anyway so get more in the pot while we can imo

Against unknowns, I'd always 3bet it, unless in SB and I *knew* BB will squeeze
02-10-2013 , 04:00 PM
Dont think im ever not 3betting a BTN open if im in the blinds with JJ+

If like my database you very rarely have more than 200+ hands on someone you think they might be a nit but they prob aren't or that doesn't mean they dont open wider than you think.

I had 200+ hands on a guy, who was playing 9/7. He opened 67ss utg. Stats are there to help, but BTN v Blinds im 3betting QQ all day long.
02-10-2013 , 04:18 PM
Aways 3 betting QQ from blinds vs. button.
If nothing else it gives you some information about their hand.
If you just call they could have almost anything.
02-10-2013 , 04:25 PM
QQ 3b vs bu 97.5% of time
02-10-2013 , 05:10 PM
lol maybe im jus running into variance here but these all happening within 300 hands is soo tilting

One of these 2 was a reg, other was unknown but obv qq ahead of any standard opening range but i didt kno what he was 4betting and if hes capable of ever being light, if he does w AK or flats, etc

MAybe I should flat vs unknowns? but I too hate them having position plus a overcard a decent amount of the time makes it kinda hard to play when K or A does pop

OH ****
02-10-2013 , 07:05 PM
I'm going for variance, just because we 3b xx dosn't mean we have to stack off. With qq i think we make most of our money when they fold and we don't tend to worry about that to much.
02-10-2013 , 08:28 PM
cold 4bet *ALWAYS* is KK or AA
02-10-2013 , 08:31 PM
Under 10nl very likely. As you move up i think ranges get wider but heavily weighted towards the top.
02-10-2013 , 10:06 PM
The one exception is BvB. Getting AK or QQ AIPF 100bb deep BvB is pretty much never wrong.

So, the weird fish who do random stuff like bet 2c into a $3 pot when they have rivered a full house, or call river with nut flush, or shove all in with middle pair no kicker, and you never know whether they are FOS or believe they have a good hand or are pulling a sick bluff on you. Well, I have been struggling against these.
But this guy, I sat to his left for only 18 hands and he played every single one.
And he minbet 2c every single flop/turn/river and called every time if raised then bet 2c on next street

Except for one hand (was also the only time he raised pre too):
