I need some comparison. Please fill in the XX in "NLXX today is like NLXX in 2010" for as many levels as you feel comfortable estimating.
Thank you in advance
Nobody is looking on the previous page. Ever. So I think this is a reasonable bump of my question.
Just want to go to the tables with right expectations.

Your question is very broad, how exactly does it pertain to your situation? Are you going back to the nosebleeds after 6 months off? Are you playing 2NL having taken a 3 year break? What stakes were you playing when that you are now concerned about?

Sorry that my question was like that. I admit the answer wouldn't even change much or barely anything, it was more out of curiosity.
I played up to NL25 in 2010, break, and want to grind from a ~$150 bankroll to play it again to earn some hundred dollars per month. I am not planning to grind my way up to midstakes or anything.

So how does NL10/NL25 play today compared to 2010
And was there NL16 back on 2010? How does it play?

Thank you for reading my question

I don't know, I suspect the answer is, it gets harder all the time but if you were a winning player in 2010 you will probably still beat it. You can try asking in the Micro NL or Micro Full Ring forums as they are full of people who will know.

Are you only allowed to post NL holdem hands in beginners section? I play Omaha/8 and I am aware there is a sub-forum for the game, but I'm wondering if you would get more replies if you were to post a question about a hand in the beginner's section? Also I'm not sure if you're allowed to post the same hand in more than one sub-forum?

Both are fine, as long as you don't go around spamming the place with multiple hands every day.

You may get better answers in one of the dedicated forums due to a larger/more knowledgeable audience but ay hands are fine in Beginners.

Dumb question about position. A lot of sites say it's SB,BB, UTG, UTG+1, UTG+2, MP, Hijack, Cutoff, Button.

But when I post a hand it gives these as the positions:

MP3: 1,515 (75.8 bb)
Hero (CO): 1,490 (74.5 bb)
BTN: 1,460 (73 bb)
SB: 1,440 (72 bb)
BB: 1,420 (71 bb)
UTG+1: 1,840 (92 bb)
UTG+2: 1,500 (75 bb)
MP1: 1,300 (65 bb)
MP2: 1,535 (76.8 bb)

Which are obviously different. Also when playing 6-max, what are the positions?

I've always heard 72o is the worst starting hand. I get the logic of no straight or flush draws, but when I run 7c2d against 3h2s in Pokerstove it's ahead 65/35%. What am i missing here?

because what is a good starting hand heads up differs from one against multiple opponents

Run 'em both individually against AA & AK. Which one does better then?

Well it does matter what they're called when you want to make a post that includes what position you're in.

You need to be able to read the different ways that seats are described in order to follow everyones' posts but you only need to use one method when you make a post.

Just post the hand history and use the converter.

In FF/Zoom poker, do i have to spectate a hand (the folds) before folding, in order to get a "complete" history of the hand?
