the Hud on PT is used for monitoring your opponents, not yourself as much. You opponents stats should be cumalative. It is useful to see your own stats just for that session because that gives you an idea of how your opponents see you (assuming they don't have PT with previous hands on you).

It pulls the mucked hands from the hand history files, so you can see what your opponents played even if they don't show.

What does it mean when someone says "villian is 78/12/56?

it means your villain plays 78% of his hands (not including when he checks big blind), raises 12% of his hands, and postflop he bets/raises 56 times more than calling (last number is a bit unrealistic - it should be around 3)

question: what were the origins of the "imo" fad, and why does everyone add it to the end of every sentence?

Not a fad. IMO and IMHO have been around at least 20 years.

It all started when somebody realised that not everything they said was the gospel truth, so a little qualification was in order.

'course, not everybody's had that realisation yet, but that's a whole other story.

In FILTERS, there's a SHOWDOWN section.

You can select 'WON WITHOUT SHOWDOWN.'

Hope that helps.

oh thanks diamonddog. there is also a "folded before showdown" option. if i take won without showdown and subtract the folded before showdown from it does that give me the total that I win from non-showdown pots?

Yeah, sort of, but 'folded before showdown' will include any hand where you were in the big blind with junk, saw the flop for 'free' because the pot wasn't raised preflop, and folded to the first bet. That hand will count as -1BB in your 'folded before showdown' results.

You might prefer to filter out those results by also selecting the 'put money in' filter. That means you're only looking at those hands where you actively chose to enter the pot, but folded before showdown.

Hope that makes sense.

It's easiest if you post an image of your results.

[1] Get the results on screen in HEM.

[2] Grab a copy of the screen image by doing ALT-PrtScn. (That puts a copy of the screen onto your clipboard.)

[3] Paste that screen image into your image editing program (Windows Paint, or Photoshop, or whatever you use.)

[4] Crop the image so that it contains just the results, getting rid of all the other stuff.

[5] Save the image on your hard drive as a .jpg file (remembering what you called it and where you put it!)

[6] Upload the image onto an image hosting site. I use Photobucket.com. Other people use ImageShack. There are lots of others, I'm sure. These sites are free but you will need to register for an account. Very easy to do.

[7] Once you've uploaded the image, copy the IMG tags from the hosting site and paste them into your 2+2 post. (On the Photobucket site, the IMG tags appear underneath the image once it's finished uploading.)

[8] Preview your post. You should see the image, no problem.

(You can use this method to post ANY image.)

Hope that helps. Let us know if there's something I didn't explain properly.

Good Luck.

Windows Vista has a tool I just discovered that does steps 2-5 in one go. Look for the Snipping Tool. Love it.

base FPP=VPP (FPP without multiplier)

Yeah, "base FPP" is super-confusing and everyone's been bugging Stars for years to stop using such a dumb term.
