How to upload hands from PT3 to sites like www.pokerhand.org

I have two completely unrelated dumb questions; posting them both in one post to cut down on spam.

Dumb question the first: I've just read this post about note making by Bilgefisher. In it he links several times to a post by Nomadtla, entitled "Some 'more' notes on notes". However, the links don't seem to work and I can't find the post using the search tool. Has it been removed from the forums completely, or just moved and hard to find/links broken? If so, I'd really appreciate a link to it

Dumb question the second: Everyone talks about # of hands played as though it's really easy to know exactly how many hands one has played. I can't find a # of hands I've played anywhere in the PokerStars software. Where do people see how many hands they've played total? Or, as I suspect also possible, where do they have the options to display # of hands for a set time period? Am I missing something really obvious/is it from specific software like PT3?

You know the common rule that 1st round in, say, 1/2, if you toss just 1 chip w/o saying anything, even if it's a $100 chip, they will deem it just a call. What if you say "bet" and toss that $100 chip in? Some ppl are saying that it's not considered a raise and deemed just a call...wtf? Doesn't 'bet' just mean that it is the 1st raise?

What are the key strategic differences in how one should play in no limit tournament vs no limit cash games?

If you have fish at a 6max 2NL table who you're 100% sure will stack off light with TPGK type hands AND you can guarantee that these players will overlimp and raise a small percentage of the time - is it a profitable play to openlimp suited Ax hands, suited connectors etc?

These fish have over 150bbs too.

1. darkprince, just say "raise". I would think "bet" can be call or raise in a limit game....not even a NL issue. Local casino "norm" in effect. Just say "raise". (fwiw, if I saw just a chip fly in during a limit game, it would mean call to me without a declared "Raise" verbalized. As stated tho, I bet others will say the opposite because...... local casino "norm" in effect.

2. that question is tough to answer quickly. But in a nutshell, if you are better than the rest skill-wise, then avoiding close decisions (coin flips) is probably #1. If you are average or below average, you best weapon is pushing as that negates a skills imbalance. (cash game pushes are rare for the "expert")

3. topcat...do you also have 150bbs? 100% sure to stack off with TPGK... play any two that can make a monster. K3o is rarely if ever monster, but 86s can be a killer. Just have the intelligence to release your draw to pressure before you put too much into the pot. One fish like this per table is awesome...just make sure to try and isolate, even with your speculative hands.

That's interesting. Does that mean also to be less aggressive if one is supposedly a better player at the table?

Funny you asked that question because I have been getting my pokering fix post-BF by rereading my books. JUST finished Sklansky's Tournament Poker for Advanced Players and a major premise is to avoid getting knocked out in close decisions. So avoid the 55/45 flips....as well as don't tangle with the big stacks that can bust you. Of course this relates to early-mid levels because once it becomes a push/fold game, skill level is not nearly as big an edge.

Aggression can be used effectively (did you watch Ben Lamb play any of the WSOP events?)....but the operative term is selective aggression.....see first paragraph.

Hi. This is my fist post.
I was paying in a 2/4 game and this guy kept telling everyone what his hands were and EVERY TIME he was telling the truth. My Question is why would he do this? I should also note that he was doing very well at the poker table.

Thank you for the help on my last questions

Another newbie question.. though I'm not sure this is the right place for it this time. I've just started playing with PT3 today. It's incresingly obvious that it's a useful skill to have to be able to read your stats/reads on your opponents and use them to continually adjust your play against them throughout a game. Erm. How do you do all of that - check all those stats - as well as everything else in a hand, without having the hand take an ice age and your opponents getting annoyed at you?

There's a guy named Nopaddles in my SnG. Odds that it's the REAL Nopaddles?

On HEM, if actual dollars earned < EV dollars , is that a sign of bad luck, incorrect decision making, or something else?

Another question! I've searched for the answer on this but can't find it. I've heard that Poker Tracker 3 has an advanced export function that allows you to export notes you've altered, but I can't find the export function anywhere in PT3 despite spending about 15 mins looking. Where is it? Or have I missed a thread about it?

Or does PT3's current incarnation simply auto export?
