3-bet more pre-flop. Check back some top pairs post-flop. (You're too aggro and aren't getting to showdown with the best hand often enough, because you're making worse hands fold). Don't call turn raises with one pair, as the nits only raise with 2pr/sets.

Run better in all in situations.

Hello! New to both poker and to this forum, been lurking here for some time and seen some helpful people around so thought I would give it a shot to post my stats here and hope for some help.

Been playing semi-serious at NLHE microstakes for about a month and im down quite a bit overall. It feels like im swinging up and down constantly having a good session and then loosing the next.

Im trying to play simple abc but obviously I have some leaks in my style. If I forgot to post any stats feel free to ask and ill post them aswell.

Thanks in advance!

I think you're being a bit too aggressive post-flop in general (your WTSD and W$SD are lower than optimal, as you're folding out worse hands a bit too often), but you have a solid winrate over this sample size, so probably don't need to change much for now. When villains get a stronger read on you, they may start exploiting your aggression, so you may need to become a bit more balanced, typically by checking some more of your made hands.
haven't check the forum lately since I'm busy with other things in life. but thanks for your advice!

Hi, I have played poker occasionally since last summer. At Christmas i thought that I'll try to improve my game so I downloaded freepokerdb to see my stats and deleted my handhistory because I wanted to "start over". I was playing terrible to start the year but after this monday something happened. I can't figure out if I'm playing any better or just running well or playing against even worse opponents. Here are my stats before and after monday. Any advice will be appreciated.

Stop 3 barrelling with marginal hands. You are successfully making people fold hands that are better than yours, the problem is when they don't fold, they have you crushed and it costs you a big chunk of your stack every time that happens.

Hey guys, i am wondering what you guys think about stats ect.

Hands is from zoom/rush games.
I am curious if i am not too loose on BB, but in theses fast fold games it seem people just min raise co/btn too often to give up with 4:1 odds given + seem not good idea fold lot when sb raise into us oop also.

Thanks.

Flatting in the BB with the great pot odds would be fine if you played "better" post-flop. It looks like you're giving up a bit too often, possibly by being a bit too fit or fold. I'd recommend you tighten up your BB defence a bit, so that you flop some equity more often and can check-call or check-raise effectively, instead of check-folding. Check-calling flop and then folding the turn will drain your bankroll, so turning some weak made hands (e.g. bottom pair + BDFD) into bluffs by check-raising the flop is often better. You could also 3-bet more often as a BB defence, as playing 31/7 in that seat is too passive.
Apart from the BB problem, stats look pretty good.

Hey guys, just started playing poker again after a 4 year break. I guess a lot has changed because I can't even beat 10NL anymore (used to play up to 200nl). About 80% of the hands a regular tables, the other 20% zoom.

Already found some leaks on my own (spewing in 3b pots). But I probably got some very fundamental leaks in my pre/postflop game as well. Really appreciate it if you guys could take a look.

^Looks like you try to bluff too often and are calling light/3 barreling too much judhing by red line and showdown line.

Tighten up pre and/or cut down on the post-flop aggression. Since you're stealing with a wide range, your hand will be weaker than average post-flop, so you're building pots with the worst hand too often. For your c-bets, stick mostly with hands that have at least a backdoor flush draw, such that you can c-bet and barrel effectively about 60% of the time. Just give up with some of your air hands, or don't open them in the first place. C-betting 77% when your range is looser than optimal to start with isn't going to work very well.

Hello All

I am a fairly new to poker in that it has been years since I played regularly.

Playing .05/.10 with $200.00 bank roll.

I have played 12K hands and would like advise on what things I should work on based on my current stats.

VPIP 17
PFR 12
3bet/F 5|37
Steal/F 31|87
AF 2.4
CBet/F 67|46
WSD/W 29|55

Personally I think I need to loosen up a bit but it seems when I do I get destroyed.

Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

So here it goes, I have pulled a lot of stats from HEM 2 in the hopes of getting as much criticism that will help me improve my game. I am interested in getting what ever I can from you guys! If you so happen to have a massive interest in helping me you could also PM me or whatever you want. Not sure if this will be too long, but here goes:

Honestly don't know if these images are showing up correctly, so here is a link to the album on imgur: http://imgur.com/a/S9lQp#0

I'm very eager to learn more, and I would be very glad if you could spot some holes in my game for discussion.

All played at 2NL Zoom this year (past 6 weeks or so part time). Looking to progress through the limits this year so all help appreciated.

Thanks,
Daniel.

I've put in nearly 60k hands of poker now and my graph is break even, although my winrate is 5.4bb/100. At this point I'm pretty discouraged with the game. I was winning at 2nl and 5nl for about 40k hand with a w/r of 15bb/100. Now that I have played 21k hands at 10nl 6max I'm just constantly get crushed. At first I thought I was running bad, but after about 21k hands of losing here, it's hard to say I am. The most frustrating thing I find about 10nl is that my value hands rarely get called and I lose money mostly on failed cbets and folding bad rivers. When I do make a value hand, as I said before, I get pretty much no action.

The huge dip in my red line was from a period in which pretty much every time I cbet I was being raised and forced to fold

This is my luck bell curve over the course of my 60k hands. Could I just be running bad?

Looking at my stats I see that I should probably be raising more. I think it is a bit skewed though because there are plenty of players with a pfr of 30+ that I would rather flat certain hands against.

^You're too tight. Open more, steal more, 3 bet/resteal more, c bet more, defend your blinds more, etc.

@Dexterr, yes, you're running bad with sets, flushes and straights, but you're also playing too tight. You're not gonna get much action with your strong hands, because the stat-aware regs at 10NL don't pay off the nits.
Post-flop stats are actually pretty decent, but it's hard to make many mistakes if you're seeing the flop with such strong ranges. Any edge you get in poker comes from how you play the more marginal hands, but you're apparently just folding those when people 3-bet you or try to steal your blinds. As TVC said, you need to steal more and resteal more. Don't let the regs exploit your tendency for folding too easily.

Thank you for the replies, everyone.

@ArtyMcFly, My stats may not show it because a majority of my hands have been played at 2nl and 4nl full ring, but I've definitely loosened up in these 6max games. I'm sure you familiar with Ryans Fee 6max guide, I've been using his starting hand ranges. So I play pretty loose from the button with hands I can semi-bluff a lot with on the right flops.

Any other suggestions? I'm still +bb/100 so I'm not losing and I'm slowly starting to win at 10nl. I don't find myself restealing often because there's not a lot of villains trying to steal. The biggest issue I run into are sessions where my cbets are constantly attacked and I lose money trying to play back. Or getting floated a ton which I'm trying to counter by making better cbets and checks depending on villain stats and board texture.

@squip, not quite sure what you mean, is this a positive comment? haha
