September didnt go well really results wise but happy in that I didn't tilt much even when running really bad and I got some decent volume in.

Looked over my notes and some hands in the 9max section of the forum and im pleased to see that what I think is matching the advice giving. This is a good sign for me. Before my thinking would have been well off.
Sept was so busy for me at work and home I got very little volume despite going back to Zoom tables. Was about breakeven before last weekend then made about 5BIs, so plus the reload bonus works out ok.
Will post graph later maybe but it's not spectacular.
Goals for Oct:
Get in more volume
Make another $100 and move to 25nl
Still be at 25nl by the end of the month
Start rewatching old DC vids
September wasn't a good month for me at all.
Things I learnt...
- I call far too often in the wrong spots.
- Folding to 3bets preflop is better than calling.
- 5bet jam bluff double range merging isn't a good idea at the micros.
- It doesn't matter what you represent, it just matters what you have at 16NL or below.
So anyway, thought I'd fire up the ZOOM tables to get my day going. Not doing that again. I don't know how you guys can play ZOOM to be honest. I can't play it since I have a game that requires a lot of reads. ZOOM essentially means that I'm playing blind a lot, and stats do only say so much.
Had a few pretty tilting spots this session gone. Set over set for a 300bb pot, People making river calls you would never expect them to make, me making a fold in a spot I'd usually call, only to see that I would have made quads on the river. #swag
I hope October gets off to a better start to this! Minus 2BI's so far.
Nah not usually but he was folding very little to 3bets and 4betting a ton so A7s is a pretty good hand to bluff with. Obviously he should never be stacking off with J9s, he must have been tilting hard or something.
according to the search and destroy series on DC your WTSD should range between 24 and 28 and your W$SD should be between 50 and 55. But if both are high/low in this range you still can have something to work on.

Hm, my WTSD is 31.4%, and my W$SD is 47%. :/ Guess I need to fold more and pick my spots.
Any tips on improving the blue line? I'm actually a loser with it.

According to PT4's Leaktracker, WTSD should be between 21.1 & 32.8% (6 max).
W$SD should be 52.2 to 66.5%.
Anyway, have let my study slide recently in favour of some table time.
Plan to read Ryan Fee's book again, as well as finish Easy Game, and read TDA's pooh bah all the way through.
And, move over to stars and play maybe 10k hands for the month.
H1, bet a standard size, he's probably calling wider than he's betting but there's not much he can call an OB with that doesn't raise anyway.
H2, I'm tempted to flat the 3bet with your read. Obviously after 4betting we can't fold ever; although that size is a little scarier than normal some do it with hands they're not sure about.

Yeah that's a pretty big leak.
I'd bet my left arm that your flop and turn aggression is probably too high. If your cbetting/raising to much then your range for getting to the river and seeing a showdown is going to be weak resulting in you not winning often.
I'd also guess that your river call efficiency is going to be really low because i'd imagine going to be calling and getting to showdown with too weak of a range(bluff catching too often).
Post the stats I mentioned and il see if its correct and il hopefully be able to point you in the right direction,
WRT to the hands
44: this situations always comes up for me. My thought process goes "I have an really strong hand and if I fold here I am nearly folding everything but a flush.. so I can't fold". Then i call and they turn over a flush 95% of the time because they are fish taking the typical line a fish takes when they hit a flush lol. So now I just fold and laugh at how bad they are.
KJ: i'm playing the same as you did. I can seem him doing this with worse Jx and sometimes just air. If he made it larger i'd probably think about folding at some point depending on his aggression and any reads I have.
Goals for October
[ ] 15k Hands posting a winning
[ ] Must not bring entire bankroll to a table after tilting
[ ] Finish off reading "Building a Bankroll" and starting "Crushing the microstakes"
[ ] Work on my most prominent leaks (limping too much and playing too much OOP)
[ ] Bluff less
4. Fold pre, but I thought he'd been 3 betting too much but he'd only done it once. Nice flop and turn for me. Strange line he took - I guess he made his hand earlier and didn't want to risk me checking back?
River:($3.85, 2 players) 6
SB bets $3.10 and is all-in, fold
Spoiler:
SB wins $3.69
5. Not involved with this hand, but found it hard to play against villains like this. Obviously call down lighter, but call 3 bets with middle pair on a flush and paired board? Find it hard to do that even against a raging fish.
Is flop raise okay(probably bigger right?)? Is turn bet too small? Is river bet too big? if river is a heart that doesn't pair the board are we check/calling or what?
