I'm not shoving there, I wouldn't expect to have much fold equity and good things can happen when I flat and hit.
Yea i didn't think i had much FE it's why i flatted also having position just figured it's the cheapest way to see out the hand and he'd more than likely bet the river too.
Also just skimmed your Pooh Bah and related it to the way i play alot, i table select a **** ton at every stake i play so will be going back through that and taking some notes off of it, thanks!
Seems like you regularly post 30-40 BI months, have you thought about moving up to 100 NL?
Yeah I have had a few this year alright but i'm still only beating 50nl for 2bb/100 this year so still have a lot to work on, I wouldn't be comfortable at 100nl given my 50nl WR. Going to look into moving up in the new year when I have more free time, have some more hands and more study under my belt. Have to concentrate on getting SN this in the next two months. 25k VPPs to go.
edit: I'm going to lol every time I open this page bc of that seal meme haha
I don't like raising the flop tbh, we just narrow down his range when we have plenty of equity in the first place. Maybe call flop raise turn, but I don't really dislike calling two streets.

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K A
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.80, SB raises to $1.90, 2 folds, Hero raises to $4.50, SB calls $2.60
Flop: ($9.40) 9 8 3 (2 players)
SB bets $15.21 and is all-in, Hero ?
Villain is an unknown 10nl zoom player, what do we think villains range is? Serious question.
Fold. He's going to have something like JJ - QQ here that wanted to wait to make sure no A or K hit the flop.
It's a pretty terrible play, but it's how a lot of people play at 10nl. People will put you on hands like AK before even thinking you might have AA or KK in your range.
[ ] Finish EHUNL
[ ] 5k hands of 5NLHU
[ ] 2.5 hands of 5NL Rush
[ ] Start weekend live sessions at $1/$3
[ ] Work on shutting down post flop when BB finally defends against my 100% sb raises (HU)
[ ] See dgiharris bink a tourney/ship huge pot at the Commerce
villain 60/93/86 agression by street with 0/0 fold to flop/turn cbet.
AK is kind of the top of my range since I check no Jx to him(maybe I should check some weak KJ to him if I decide to cb??) so i don't really like folding. Thoughts??
Checking a bunch of hands and letting him barrel off is decent I guess, but considering he isn't folding either I would just bet my value hands including AK.
Id say AA/KK sometimes, AQss AJss, the odd QQ/JJ/TT.

I think me calling in that spot is ok, my range is like AK, QQ+. That's 34 combos.
9.78/(9.78+ 9.40) = 51%
I'm snapping KK+ (12 combos), folding QQ (6) and I think not blocking A is good because a lot of his bluffs will contain this if he's thinking but having K is still blocking any possible FDs there's 3 combos of AK and I'm calling AK.

This is good thinking to have, but a bit over the top for 10nl I think.
The play makes absolutely no sense, but players at 10nl often make absolutely no sense. From what I have witnessed, when somebody calls a 5bet preflop at these limits, they have a hand such as JJ - QQ that doesn't want to see a flop with a K or an A, then they just shove because "overpair", without thinking about somebody else's range and what could call that's worse. It's a really bad play, but people are still pretty bad here.
People are likely to call 4bets with AQs as well. I'm unsure if he'd call a 5bet with AQs, and with no history it's hard to say, but if he's calling with that and shoving with a flush draw I'd probably call.
KK+ is definitely a snap. I'd even debate that QQ is a snap call as well since as I've said, this play looks like JJ - QQ (since AA - KK is getting it in pre, as you said).
Did you end up calling?
Re Goldstar: It's pretty easy at 10nl. I got it within the first 12 days of October or something, playing a mix of 10nl ZOOM and 12 tabling some PLO at times.
